Cameron Highlands
Cameron Highlands was such a great place to relax. We went on big hikes during the day, and chilled out at night by watching movies, reading, or playing cards.
These pictures are from hike #9a (the hikes are numbered in the Cameron Highlands). It was a long but easy walk that went through the jungle and then up a long gradual hill to one of the tea plantations in Cameron Highlands.
The Robinson Waterfall

Since Cameron Highlands was up in the mountains, the jungle was relatively cool. It was still quite dense though, and the plants seem to grow every possible way.

And we saw several large millipedes on the trails as well.

After going through the jungle for a few km, we went past many vegetable farms.

And then we walked through many more km of the tea plantations. I loved the way they looked, and ended up taking way too many photos of them!

Another hike (called hike #1) took us up a very steep, dense, and slippery hill for a few km, and then down a gradual 7km service road. It was eerily foggy the whole way up.

Down the service road, we walked past tea plantations almost the whole time.

And my feet hurt the whole way down- after getting to our hostel I could see why.

We also hiked through the Kea Farm area and saw some nice vegetable fields.

And nearby was a great Butterfly World in a flower garden.
