Koh Chang (Page 1 of 2)
We stayed at Lonely Beach on Koh Chang. This was our first time in bungalows-they take some getting used to, since most bugs and critters (even bats) like to come in, but now I love bungalows. We stayed at two different bungalows.
This one was small and had basically nothing except a bed and mosquito net

There's Mark, the sweat-bag.

But the next bungalow we stayed at was luxurious- it had its own bathroom, and we could hang our hammock outside.

And with the room, came our own cat.

The sand and water at Lonely Beach were very nice, and of course so were the sunsets.

We went on our first trek on Koh Chang to two waterfalls. I prefer to call it a hike, but trek seems to be the going term with all the travelers. It was really nice, but very dense. We always had to watch where we put our hands, because some tree trunks were covered with red stinging ants!

At the end of our trek, we walked through a durian orchard!
