Chinese New Year Tour
We toured beautiful Taiwan on our scooters for 7 days during Chinese New Year. If you haven't read it already, here is the journal posting for it.
Day 1. Yuanlin -> Taitung by train.
We looked around at various temples and went to the Peinan Cultural Park.
This is the Matsu temple.
And this is ghost money at the temple (likely just a daily supply!). The Taiwanese burn tons of this stuff on a regular basis for various gods.
The Peinan Cultural Park is a huge amount of land with buildings and farming stuff. This is the museum

And for some strange reason there were these scary looking cows/bulls with no fence. (Mark went in for the shot, I stayed back on the road!)
That's all we got for the first day because I have some other pics that still need to get taken in for development. I promise it gets more exciting!
